Ok, I've taken the boost bleed valve off and returned it to normal (i.e. strainght hose from the turbo to the actuator) and no difference. It still surges/jerks when approaching zero on the gauge. I can still hear the boost but cant feel it. I also bought a HEC715 and tried fitting it on the weekend...

Nevermind guy's, I worked it out. Changed them all over the weekend, found 3 really shagged ones on the exhaust side of cylinder 2, 3 & 4. No more smoke at start-up and take off after idleing for a while Tricky little excerise, but it can definatley be done. Thanks anyway.
