As stated in another thread, http://forum.n12turbo.com/viewtopic.php?t=6298, my timing belt tensioner went last week. So, last saturday was spent fitting a timing belt kit.

Result, no compression.

So, this w/end will be spent starting on the turbo conversion.

Found the problem, tensioner shat itself!



Now I think the timing's out.........



Suggestions????

I came to a stop at a set of lights & the car died, wouldn't fire. RACV said timing belt most likely jumped, valves still move. Bugger all compression.

Got a price on a timing belt kit, $77.61 & water pump $74.66.

My timing belt appears to have slipped a few teeth, what are the chances that a valve hasn't hit a piston?

Android, I dunno if the rims are 3 piece. All I know is that they're Japanese.

R31 Skyline Ti use 15" spare, they're your best bet. They look the same as the NA N12.
