Select 3rd gear, friend stands on the brake peddle, do up the nut. From memory the nut only needs 50ish N/m so no problem with the gearbox taking the strain.

It won't work mate. The output from both is different, plus i would expect the signal from a hot wire to linear compared to the vane not being as linear. Then you would have the problem that the RB hot wire would have to give the same voltage v's airflow compared to the E15 vane which is not going t...

Re: Wastegate pressure
Hey guys i mounted my turbo and wastegate up, had to drill some holes in the CHRA for bracket but silly me didn't think to test the wastegate pressure before doing it all. I tested it now and it seems to be a 12psi spring that only really has a nice full opening at 17ish psi onwards. Cheers. Is thi...

To set the record straight, I am a massive believer in science and the way that understanding science allows individuals to contemplate the universe and its origins, but, I am also a believer in God, and that everything in the universe is intentional (Grand Design). Now to me, they are not mutually ...

So English Professor, what's wrong with what I wrote? other than the grammar Is it spelt in correctly? Is what I said in anyway wrong? Being so smart yourself wouldn't putting correct grammar to any written words you read come naturally? Back to the question in the thread, Does the gaskets have any ...

IIRC the small bore hose at the top of the carbon canister goes to the small pipe on the throttle body. It should be the one which opens inside the t/b just prior to the butterfly on the turbo side when the butterfly is closed, and on the engine side once the throttle is anything more than very slig...
