If I understand the strategy they are implementing correctly (mind you, none of the stuff that the 'F1' sites seem to quote seems realistic, everything appears to be dumbed down so the layman can grasp it), no wastegate, shaft speed is limited by the ECU loading up the uber speed generator to electr...

I hear your pain, and that is why some of the best older drivers can't compete, as what they are now doing is 75% racing and 25% bean counting. Pinnacle racing is supposed to be driver with the biggest balls going flat stick over a set distance the quickest, whether 1, 2 or 3 stops. Today, the drive...

So Ricciardo has been asshole'd by the FIA for apparently having too much fuel flow during the race. The homoglated fuel flow sensors that all teams run so their fuel flow can be monitored by the FIA were giving inconsistent results from FP1 on Friday for both the RedBull cars. The FIA changed the s...

Well, as expected, Mercedes is miles ahead of everyone else at the start of this 1st round of the comp. Rosburg finished 24+ seconds ahead of everone else in the field. Daniel Ricciardo had a spectacular race and finished 2nd. It will be interesting to see how much better Vettle could have gone if h...

It sounds like it could be a few things. First off, do a diagnostics check on the ecu (running if possible), that will rule out cactus AFM, coolant temp ect ect. Unplug the AFM to see if the engine cranking/starting probs change dramatically. Also, unplug the ECU coolant temp sensor and bridge the h...

O.K, I haven't looked at your vid, but i am quite sure (as you are) you have a plumbing issue. Having the engine breathers set up the way you have is going to result in pressurizing the sump and blowing oil out of anywhere it can go! I would count yourself lucky you haven't blown the sump gasket. If...

You will have to adjust your throttle blade. With the engine fully warmed up, screw out the high speed engine idle screw around 3 to 4 full turns, then adjust the throttle stop screw on the T/B to lower your warmed idle speed. Make sure all your ignition timing, throttle switch and valve clearances ...

How do they justify the same torque with different pitch? Even the fact that you have less than 1/2 the contact friction surface between the stud and nut thread (compared to the OEM bolt and block thread) would change the torque loading! I can even remember hearing ramblings saying that you can't us...

By rights it should tighten up to on its own When I did mine I was told too tight it up as much as I could and it would do the rest it self when the engine starts Its the way I did it , it ain't come off Zoomzoom Not too sure that works well. I have had two come undone after being done up within a ...
