... the wife made me come in for dinner at 5pm. I did stick one of the pistons in my spare block to see how it looks. Here is a GA16DE piston on an E15 rod on a E16 crank in an E15 block :-) Looks good. http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/kk136/nismoxero/nismo/NewPistonInBlock1.jpg I did put the ...

If I were you I would not chose a rod or get the engine bored until you source your pistons! If the engine builder is switched on, ... you use is going to dictate how much clearance you 'may' have. The standard E15 NA pistons have valve cut outs in the top of the pistons to avoid piston to ...

... GTR - Not a lot, but I have seen a few. But very few turbo. Damo - The GA16DE pistons have (or supposed to have) a 3mm lower comp height than the E15-E16 pistons so "should" be perfect for the job. I'll know for sure after I find my GA pistons, but I can't get them till I find out if ...

Not in Oz m8. IIRC we didnt get any efi atmo cars and if there were there must have only been a handful. The e15 motor goes adequately turbo-less even on low compression so it would work just fine as a stooge around thingo running on plain old ulp. However, IIRC the D5 is fuel ...

E 15 Feul injected non turbo. Has anyone played

... lot of room there. Just to use as a junk carrier. That would be neat... but back to my original problem, they're a gutless peace of crap with that E15 55kw motor.... Then I thought, I have tones of spares... enough to put a whole injected set up together.... Well almost. Have manifolds and rails. ...

I'm not too sure that engine combo you are aiming at will work. You will either need to go custom pistons or ... but have conceded the fact that I will either need to go the long 140.5mm rods with E15 crank, or short 137.5mm rods with the fully counter balanced E16 crank, both wearing ...

... and if that doesn't satisfy, do what you like. I can almost without hesitation say that no one has bothered to ever try and adapt a m6x AFM to the E15. Damo

doubt it, E15 AFMS are vane type, which kinda stop doing anything after a certain rpm anyway.

Thats to suit hotwire type

... 135 km/h the other day, I downshifted to fourth gear and floored it. I hit 160 (speedo needle at 165) in no time (no time = felt quick for a N/A E15) and it was screaming for fifth gear... decided not to try my luck with the cops so I laid off. (If they would have seen me I would have lost my ...

... the same as the turbos anyway) and set out to lighten and balance them as best I could. The one thing that makes this easier on the RB's than the E15's is that the RB's use a fully floating pin which makes removing the slugs a doodle. The rods with bolts and nuts started out at 675g ish, and ended ...

e15 is cabby so I thinking not, for intake use blue or black silicon elbows, heat should be the same be the same if not just use a longer peace of water hose so it don't kink funky but will get you out of trouble
