Select 3rd gear, friend stands on the brake peddle, do up the nut. From memory the nut only needs 50ish N/m so no problem with the gearbox taking the strain.

And its the battery box, cause it has piss small leads running from the battery to the terminals I had a little google look for cable size v's square mm, 4gauge is 'supposed' to be 5ish mm diameter and 21mm2 in cross section (which isn't correct because the strands which make up the cable are round...

Where are you located, and what language do you primarily speak?

These 2 will probably dictate whether you get an answer or not!

It would be easier to do it on an engine stand, but you would need to get the engine out (obviously) which is harder than just removing the head. If it is your first attempt at pulling the head off, I would strongly recommend a workshop manual are Haines at a pinch. Once you have done it once or twi...

Good point. The inlet manifold gaskets are the same for the E15/E15T/E16 the oval shape, where the E13 has the round port shape. Again, they will all be in a standard kit.
Also, out of interest Denied, the E15T has 1mm bigger exhaust valves over the NA E15.

That's a good bit of detective work! #1 at drivers side.
Yep, you have blown the gasket between #3 and #4. Head will have to come off and change the gasket over, then you will need to sus out why it was detonating to cause the failure. How much hotter is/was the engine running?

It won't work mate. The output from both is different, plus i would expect the signal from a hot wire to linear compared to the vane not being as linear. Then you would have the problem that the RB hot wire would have to give the same voltage v's airflow compared to the E15 vane which is not going t...

Re: Wastegate pressure

Hey guys i mounted my turbo and wastegate up, had to drill some holes in the CHRA for bracket but silly me didn't think to test the wastegate pressure before doing it all. I tested it now and it seems to be a 12psi spring that only really has a nice full opening at 17ish psi onwards. Cheers. Is thi...

So English Professor, what's wrong with what I wrote? other than the grammar Is it spelt in correctly? Is what I said in anyway wrong? Being so smart yourself wouldn't putting correct grammar to any written words you read come naturally? Back to the question in the thread, Does the gaskets have any ...

IIRC the small bore hose at the top of the carbon canister goes to the small pipe on the throttle body. It should be the one which opens inside the t/b just prior to the butterfly on the turbo side when the butterfly is closed, and on the engine side once the throttle is anything more than very slig...
