Do you recall if the testing was done on a standard motor or a modified one?

Are you planning on keeping it registered/engineerable? If you are serious, it'd probably be worth a bit of investigation as to knowing what the legal swap limitations are and then making a decision from there. I was recently told you can increase 25% in engine capacity and still have it engineerabl...

Why not put a 300zx VG30DETT motor into a Pulsar

It'll fit according to the tape measure. Add a little bit of reworking to make it rear wheel drive, and you would have an absolute weapon. Good luck getting it rego'd, but would be great for 1/4 mile, burnout vehicle or similar!

Sprayed silicone spray in the fuel hose. Fitted hose to injectors and then into the rail. Changed the injector plug, and tha...

From what I'm aware... Any modification to any car must comply with the original ADR's (Australian Design Rules) that relate to that specific car at the time of it's original compliance. Any modification must also comply with the RTA rules as set out for Authorised Inspection Stations (in NSW at lea...

i mean some air ducting to underneath each head and turbo, general area. to try and keep the temperatures down a bit. the bays are a bloody tight space with the VG30DETT's! not much space for all the heat generated by the manifolds/turbo's to escape! Nah, I've never thought of it. Come to think of ...

Do you mean to the outer casing of the turbos, or to the turbo compressor inlet?

An ET weighs how much?

Does anyone know the official factory weight of an ET? What is the standard that this is measured with (fuel level and so on)?

Ash wrote: so the 300, NA or twin? what mods?
Twin turbo. There's a bit of a list of mods. It puts out around 450hp, with a lot more average torque than standard. Instead of being all power over 3500rpm it's very driveable from about 2000 onwards, making a very streetable Z.

nice job Ztealth. looks the goods! thats not your Z32 in the background is it? I wondered if that would be noticed! Yeah, it's mine. The Z is an awesome bit of gear. But - and this might sound odd to some - I actually enjoy the Pulsar more than the Z. I love modifying cars, and the Pulsar is so muc...

Hi, Nice ET. What did you polish it with? It seems to be absolutely gleaming?? Or am I just dreaming? The paint looks really good. :) Darren. Thanks Timmzy. I used "Auto Glym Super Resin Polish" and an electric buffer. About half a bottle all up and about 2 hours later, this was the resul...
