... The engine has always seemed to run hot but that said the temperature gauge in the cluster has NEVER gone above halfway, even when it blew the radiator it wasn't looking near the danger levels... I'm starting to doubt the accuracy of it. Good mechanic in perth is this guy.... Dr Mark Car Surgeon. ...

s-cargo engine troubles.
... seemed to still be vacuuming and didn't notice any weird smoke from engine bay. Car has consistently run hot ever since I have had it (replaced radiator about 6 months ago after it blew on a hot down while running down Tonkin Highway with the aircon on) I'm hazarding a guess going on the workshop ...

... about it after that eh? Just disconnect the CAS plug to kill the injectors and ignition. Turn the heater tap on full hot, fans off and remove the radiator cap. Keep some extra coolant handy. Hold your RPM up 1800-2000 odd rpm while the thing heats up. I find an offcut from a small cabletie stuck ...

... frozenboost kits for my Ute. it contained everything I needed down to the last hoseclamp. I dont think they supply all the hardware anymore. The radiator supplied is actually not a lot smaller in area than the car radiator but is a skinny single core ally thing with upper and lower tanks. Zero ...

Small Air Condensers
... of it? Trying to mount my air condenser for my Water to air intercooler system at the moment working with the space i have, without taking out the radiator support bracket or cutting into the bottom bodykit lip. Will probably need to organise some thinner fans. I picked up a condenser from a mazda ...

Update 11/08/13
... boot, most interiors are in, T25G installed with water lines, intercooler is mounted with brackets. Was having a bit of trouble sticking in the radiator but got there eventually. The clearance is minimal though, just a couple of mm. Scratched a bit of paint on the way though, o well live and ...

I've tried turbo first then radiator, and that was troublesome, now ive tried fitting the radiator first and then the turbo. No luck. Whats the best way of doing it? Should i grind ...

Coolant- best type? And flushing old radiators. Bad idea?
... they all do the same thing!.. Not so sure about that! There are also flushing products that contain alkaline salts. (caustic soda?) in an old radiator, i have heard that flushing is a very bad idea, as the rubbish in it keeps the whole thing together/holes gummed up. Putting caustic soda into ...

... on. This meant the outlet was the same size as the TB and i didnt need a reducer. i have also started to tidy up the engine bay by moving the radiator overflow to under the front fender and rerouting some of the wiring. Still a long way to go but getting there slowly. http://i944.photobucket.com/albums/ad288/DatN10/image_zps762a6359.jpg ...

check if there is any temp difference between the top and bottom hoses, that can give you an idea on the thermostat. You can flush the radiator, but it can pickup the crap from inside the block and just put it right back into the radiator again. Probably a good idea to have the radiator checked, ...
