I don't think I ever got around to sizing it out properly. From your last post though, are you sure you just don't have the wrong harness going to the wrong globe?

Mine used to do something similar with the indicators coming with the brake lights. I think it was due to an farthing issue at the lights themselves.

What I would suggest would be to start a members ride page, it makes it far simpler to keep track of questions which relate to each other, plus it give more of an insight into the whole of the package and how the answers relate to everything you have done, and plan on doing. I spotted the other post...

Is this happening straight away, of after a 1000ks or so? You are getting coolant into your oil, and it may not be due to blowing a head gasket! I'd be doing a pressure test of the cooling system/head to find where your coolant leak is. It sounds as though there is a crack from one of the water gall...

The gaskets are/should be made to the exact same dimensions. You will find however that over time (since the conception and introduction of the engine) that updates have been made to the gaskets to promote flow in certain parts of the head. ie, coolant passages have been either restricted or blocked...

Hey Michael, I'm assuming that you are dealing with the VL? Is this with the RB20 or RB30? One thing that I think you should keep in mind before worrying too much about how much more flexibility you 'may' have with the brand name replacement ECU's is, how often do you get a car with a aftermarket EC...

Strange thing those. My olds 85GX bought from the factory showroom had a proper cam cog rather than the pressed steel that I have seen in every E15 since then. It may have been a specific batch of E15s only, don't have a exact answer other than they were in Aussy cars.

That's a screen shot lifted straight from the 'Hobart Hillbillies', starring E Clampett, texting whilst trying to tune the old gal and getting all crossed up on the bridge.
