i paid $700 for similar work, new valves and springs plus porting. I think $1200 is very steep

Timeslip showed 1.6 60ft.
I think if he took the car to a decent track he'll drop into low 9s.
It looks like smooth concrete once you get passed all the rubber at the start.

Are you just putting in main bearing where old bearings were? surely if the old ones were stuffed the crank will be worn and you'll need oversize bearings and the crank ground?

at least you have the best ecu to tune it with. Shouldn't have too many problems. It may need to get tuned with the TPS for load then switch over to map on boost.

fj20 injectors? it wouldn't be running very well unless you have an aftermarket ecu tuned for them.

My wifes ET ran a 14.8 with a 2.5 60ft (so plenty of room for improvement)
with the same mods, and around 12psi of boost.

hmm yeah maybe i know the guy driving it was the owner of that dymatech place. i'd be a bit careful how well he 'builds' n12s. I recall him raving how he was making them run 15 second 1/4s which isn't something id be boasting about.

ah welcome fellow westerner. I've seen this once on a pulsar cruise a few years ago. Glad you got rid of the massive T wing and other ricey things it had hanging off it.

keep stock until it breaks. Mine lasted about 3-4 years. A couple of trips to the drags and 2 seasons of autokahna. And it only lost 2 teeth from 2nd when it broke..

wolf just uses the map sensor. TPS is just used for things like overrun fuel cut and idle control.
