upgrade camshaft
Is there any point in upgrading the camshaft in these engine, are they restrictive in any way, and what power can you get from the standard camshaft if left in. Also is there any point putting a vernier pully on the standard camshaft if used.

... much of a difference if any. Actually with the number of ET's i've seen and heard of with N/A heads on them most are probably running with the NA camshaft. Best to contact a camgrinder like waggot tell them what sorta performance you want and they will grind you cam to those specs. Cost is around ...
