What sort of profiles do i want on a cam suited for a T28? What sort of results have people had and from which cams?

hey im totaly for building my own cars too, but im not mad keen about dialing in my own camshaft,if i get that done in a workshop im kinda in a grey area!!!lol :lol:

... me for like and hour!!! If you look at the old forum I was always very forthcoming with information about my car. The only thing I never told was Camshaft Specs. No my engine isnt a stroked engine, used the standard crank and rods and ACL Pistons. If you dont believe me about the engine, why dont ...

... with a MA09ERT basically a MA????T engine is a engine from same era as E15ET and CA18ET, a transversially mounted R4 with one belt driven overhead camshaft and electric MPI. catalytic converter was on some models.

there should be a thickish (is that a word?) paper seal between that and the head.

don't use just sealant.

Dialing in the Camshaft

I've bought myself a dial indicator and magnetic base. I'm going to find true TDC and see how far out the cam is. Then dial it in. I don't have an adjustable cam wheel yet but i'll see how close i can get it. I might try Damo's method of drilling some extra holes for the dowel. I'll let you know how...
