Deciding whether to go with a different camshaft when rebuilding my motor just want some opinions im gonna be running standard ecu thats my only holdback. My previous ET had a stage 2 cam im just wondering if you guys think it is worth it or ...

... rings, bearings etc and get the head re-conditioned, debating whether to get it ported and polished or not... any opinions? And using standard camshaft as in my last car i had a stage 2 camtech cam and with the standard ecu it ran like a dog.

another thing is to make sure, once you have the belt on, to turn the camshaft pulley 2 teeth clockwise before you push the tensioner up against the belt and tighten it. this makes sure you have correct tension on both sides of the belt.
