ecu error code 33 ?!
What means ecu error code 33? Got that code today several times with code 12 ("air flow meter circuit"). Car misfired a bit and hesitated, just disconnected ecu wiring plugs, cleansed with contact cleaner spray and reconnected the plugs and that helped. My N12 workshop manual doesn...

Re: Replacement Coil Trigger
Hi All The stock coil triggers are getting old. I still see them being bought and sold second hand. Usual replacement is a Bosch module like a 008 or the like. Not often a stock line unless you go to an EFI specialist. Jaycar sell a dumb generic single channel coil trigger (PTU) which might get you...

Painted again over whole N13 (MIPA matte black) in the summer because got some colour shade problems after local rust repairs. There's also so called N13 pre-facelift front buffer installed instead of earlier post-facelift. This new one needed a hole for radiator blower. Sunny_HB004.jpg The car is o...

Engine room gets dirty and messed up pretty fast but have to try to take pictures at the right time.. AC is now functioning. Yesterday was a hot day here in Finland and it was funny to test the system. Changed the crank axle wheel from N13 E13 to get compressor's band straight (at the same...

Further to this. The AFM has NO influence on full throttle afr's much beyond around 2700 rpm @ WOT. Damo tested the operation of the afm a long time ago and its wide open very early. Nissans, as a rule, tend to run rather fat afr's from factory. 10;1 is not far off blowing black smoke which is pret...

AFAIK, closed loop control is seriously limited if anything at all. Dudes run with/without egos senders and nobody has noted anything. Dont go getting too excited just yet. L8r E Well, good that you warned. :D Tried that now some days (normal lambda-sensor with 1 lead and wideband lambda to observe...

OT: grunertee's N13 with E15ET (a/c) + B11 VAN with E15ET
Hi! Here's some pics of my N13 with E15ET tech taken from N12 Cherry turbo (earlier this car had E13). Wanted to get a bit more power for the car which is in daily use (when it's warmer outside here in Finland). Had installed AC earlier to the side of E13 and as you could imagine it was lazy. Got th...

Oil circulation
Hi! I've got couple of questions about oil circulation structures in E15ET: http://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/x343/grunertee/oil2-1.jpg What are these valves (?) (1 and 2) in the root of oil filter? http://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/x343/grunertee/oilcool1.jpg And what is behind these hex bolts ...

AFR at full throttle
Just basic questions.. Didn't find answers with search, and this is the best forum to ask i think.. :D What kind of AFR readings you've got with E15ET at full throttle accelerations? Tried with 2 different AFM:s and it was 10 and 10.5.. (0.5 bar boost setting, Schwitzer S1BG, 60mm-51mm exhaust, cat)...
