Thanks everyone, well i ended up ordering the oil/water cooler from frozenboost since I was ordering a bunch of joiners from there anyways. You raise a good point E so hopefully the one I ordered will be less restrictive considering its designed for more viscous fluids such as oil and transmission f...

Don't think it will heat up too much. Here's some pics with it on the otherside with a 2.5 inch pipe to demonstrate the space. If i used the underside pipe as the outlet to the TB it would take some serious welding mods i can't do myself, so the larger one has to be the outlet. The only place to mou...

how are you going to do the piping with the intake facing the opposite side of the intercooler? would've been better of with the Japspec manifold that faces the other way? or putting the cooler on the other side? That was a dilema before, and I did want to put the IC on the left hand side, the only...

Small Air Condensers

Anyone know of any cars with quite small air condensers? I know the n12's came with one but does anyone know the dimensions of it? Trying to mount my air condenser for my Water to air intercooler system at the moment working with the space i have, without taking out the radiator support bracket or c...

Car isn't running just yet so testing was done with air compressor and used a boost gauge to regulate the pressure while testing. I'll have to check whether the gate spins or not, but 12 psi is the pressure at which the gate begins to open. If that's the 'crack' that your referring too, +/- a few ps...

Cheers shane, i guess running it straight is a no go then. But fortunately i think i just found a great solution! With a couple of washers and nuts you can use a compressive spring to aid with force required to open the wastegate like so: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rogCn4AJYsY Brilliant! ill ha...

Update 11/08/13

Had a small break and got more done on this car. Battery is now in the boot, most interiors are in, T25G installed with water lines, intercooler is mounted with brackets. Was having a bit of trouble sticking in the radiator but got there eventually. The clearance is minimal though, just a couple of ...

Wastegate pressure

Hey guys i mounted my turbo and wastegate up, had to drill some holes in the CHRA for bracket but silly me didn't think to test the wastegate pressure before doing it all. I tested it now and it seems to be a 12psi spring that only really has a nice full opening at 17ish psi onwards. Will this be ba...

Cheers guys, got it all in after putting my turbo back on the manifold and removing the mounts as suggested. Slotted in from the top, just had to reclock the turbo a bit more for clearance.

Fitting radiator and turbo

Here's one for those with experienced ET frustration... How the hell do you get the turbo (t25) and radaitor in??? I can see theres clearance, ive clocked my turbo so that there is. The trouble is fitting it with the stock manifold. I've tried turbo first then radiator, and that was troublesome, now...
