egi manifold installation

Hi Guys, looking at the egi manifold that im going to be installing it the following weeks it appears that the valves for the speed idle compensators are blocked off. Just wondering if this is an issue or is the compensator superfluous?

Cheers,

Reuben.

Can anyone tell me what the fuel check valve on top of the fuel tank does and is it essential? i need to either remove it or move it elsewhere to fit my fuel tank. Cheers

The interior trim on the doors should just pull off after unscrewing the arm rest ect. Trick for the window winders is rotate the winder upwards, use an old towel and shove it inbewtween the winder and the door and rotate winder back and forwards till it jams and pops off. Then for the front windows...

rebuilding old brake calipers

Now this is most likely because they've been sitting ducks for 10 years. I went to go rebuild the rear brake calipers and it seems as though there has been quite a bit of corrosion built up. I managed to disassemble one of the rears and cleaned up most of it so however there was a small amount of pi...

well from what i've read now apparently a lot of them don't flow as well as the genuine one. It is surprising to see that infact a lot of the ones that look geniune, i.e. shipped in bosch boxes are not genuine at all. I went to AutoOne today to get a pricing for the 040 and it was $400! So i guess i...

Part copies (non-geniune)

Has anyone used or had experience with a non-genuine bosch 040. There's quite a large cost difference $80-100 as opposed to $200. I am wondering if its worth the risk, or just to go genuine? for those that wanted to see, here are the photos of my little adventure... the drive up mauna kea is so steep and dangerous that no company will give you insurance to take a rental. Thankfully the people taking us up there had a car and drove us up. This part is the easy part with tarmac but the re...

Wow, that would have been an exclusive experience, envy right here! Pics or it didn't happen. :D The great thing about space exploration wether it be in actual space, or observation and modeling, is that the technology and engineering has to improve for the exploration to expand and improve. So a l...

Hey buddy from what ive read on these forums it will work but needs some modifications, i was in the same position as you so i did a bit of research. I was lead to believe that the na fuel tank is slightly flatter and thus will not house the larger turbo fuel pump, however this can be fixed by using...

It's actually pretty damn crazy, there is so much more to learn about space and our universe, we have barely scratched the surface. My brother's a bit of an astronomy nut so early this year we got the opportunity to fly over to Hawaii and drive up Mauna Kea to see the observatories. Infact we were q...

its alright i managed to get it out eventually. Found a screw that was under the seal to remove the bar that sits in the middle. Then pulled the small window out and then it was good to go :)

Whats happened is the glue has just dried out and turned into rubber. so i need to remove the window so i can glue the plastic tabs ba...
