... of installing brakes, should i bother to rebuild calipers? anyone know what diy kits there are? (there seems to be a bit of corrosion in the cylinder but quite minimal). Thanks, Reuben.

So then ignore that method and do each valve individually on that cylinder.
Just rotate the engine intill the cam lobe is pointing down and opposite the rocker tappet face.

its funny you should say that, because Im having trouble locating TDC on the cylinder where BOTH arms are rocking,

thats EXACTLY what I thought...

i can only get the intake rocker to clear off....

Have you tried just replacing the lead/plug? Im guessing so. How about the coil? Tested compression on that cylinder? Leak down test?

Try pulling off one injector plug at a time to see if it is cylinder related.
