... combo (in my opinion) would be the NA E15 rods in a E16 block with E16 crank. Top them with some GA16 pistons, they will need flycuts to clear the valves, and you have your 10:1+ compression. The chambers on the E16 head will potentially give a better squish with the GA flat top pistons also. Damo

... that problem. belt off, line up the timing, get the timing right. belt back on and tensioned correctly, double check spark plug holes to make sure valves not off. go to rotate the crank by hand and it moves smoothly a split second then jumps teeth on the belt so i go and check to the cam shaft ...

egi manifold installation
Hi Guys, looking at the egi manifold that im going to be installing it the following weeks it appears that the valves for the speed idle compensators are blocked off. Just wondering if this is an issue or is the compensator superfluous?
