Non E15ET head, on E15ET block?

... Cherry Turbo N12 (as it is called in Europe). Im considering installing a head from a E15S, on my E15ET block. From what I could see parts on valves, valve rockers etc.. everything.. is the same, so should work? Then I found this nice article: http://forum.n12turbo.com/viewtopic.php?t=4613&highlight=head ...

... would have been gone after fitting new stem seals, namely these: http://www.onlinecarparts.co.uk/reinz-7440095.html I mounted them with the valves staying in the head and pressurized cylinder, but noticed, that they would start to to slip off the valve guide a bit, soon after they were seated ...

... combo (in my opinion) would be the NA E15 rods in a E16 block with E16 crank. Top them with some GA16 pistons, they will need flycuts to clear the valves, and you have your 10:1+ compression. The chambers on the E16 head will potentially give a better squish with the GA flat top pistons also. Damo

Having trouble starting

... dry, not sure this would have caused it; battery? figured it would have had more of a dying away affect rather than a halt? A friend suggested the valves could be stuck, but would the engine still have cranked initially when i was building oil pressure under no load? Help Appreciated!! Cheers, ...

Good point. The inlet manifold gaskets are the same for the E15/E15T/E16 the oval shape, where the E13 has the round port shape. Again, they will all be in a standard kit.
Also, out of interest Denied, the E15T has 1mm bigger exhaust valves over the NA E15.

Ahh. Ok, EGI plenums dont have those valves the stock logs do apart from the AAIV on the end of the plenum
.
Connect switched 12v to that black housing on the end. Its identical in operation to the one on the stock log.

The other idle compensation valves live on the stock EGI throttle body.

egi manifold installation

Hi Guys, looking at the egi manifold that im going to be installing it the following weeks it appears that the valves for the speed idle compensators are blocked off. Just wondering if this is an issue or is the compensator superfluous?

Cheers,

Reuben.
