Id suggest your TPS is not adjusted correctly. The 'crackling" you refer to on throttle overrun is just ordinary backfiring and is a result of LEAN conditions, not rich. If its running rich then the zorst will just give a soft "burble" on overrun. This ...

wolf just uses the map sensor. TPS is just used for things like overrun fuel cut and idle control.

Small update. I've installed a new walbro fuel pump, tps, o2 sensor and idle air valve. Got it running in closed loop now and overrun fuel cut is enabled. My ECU should arrive back from wolf on monday so i can return this one to my mate. I've got to put a new intake manifold gasket on ...
