... fueling when cruising at high speeds and not WOT. The thin sensor is for the additional fan as has been pointed out. The O2 sensor is not in the manual as it was not brought in till 86 and the manual was never revised to reflect the 86 model.

just so I don't tear the threads out of the block, verify my logic... I should torque the studs up to the normal values given in the workshop manual and use loctite stud locker when installing them. ... head bolts in a circular manner. I wrote down everything as to stripping the head, so I am aiming to post that up here too... since the workshop manual has all of 3 or 4 steps which doesn't really cover the nitty gritty. I think I ran to 5 pages of oil-stained notes.
