IIRC the only difference in CA18 blocks is the oil jets for pistons. (CA18S doesn't have, CA18DE doesn't have, CA18DET has,)

Ca18 mount question

... was basically a straight drop in. I can get the Ca18s mounts from England, I was wondering if the block would be the same for the ca18s and the ca18de. I'm sure the mounts would not be good enough for a det, but for a stock de, it might make the prairie a decent daily driver. The main reason ...

NA help

... lead foot... but forget overtaking another car. 2 Thoughts , 1/ as the Prairie came with a ca18 everywhere else except Australia... is to put in a ca18de (stock as I am not looking for too much power) or 2/ to do up the motor a little. keeping the E15... I already have extractors for a e15 and ...

Stock E15et injectors are 275cc hosetail type injectors. same as VL-T CA18DE (non-turbo) injectors are HIGH impedance 270cc O-ring type, Useable with a stock ECU as you can clamp 10mm fuel hose to the o-ring spigots at a pinch but youd have to remove the stock ...

Depends on if they are CA18de (exa) or ca18de or ca18det (silvia)

if its the DET's then yes they are larger and will require a touch up on the map.

... if the E16's are anything like the E15ET's with a bit of work then they will be full of hassles. i'm not pushing but if your model came with the CA18DE then an SR20DET swap would be a good choice. they are a very good engine. i know from experience. hard to kill!

i had luck finding some of the nissans from the list on scrapyards here around.

i'm not 100% sure, but i think the clips are pretty much the same as the e15et ones...?
