Error code 23
But I guess it will adjust the timing, knowing when the engine is idling, and when you add load? Anyway, when I reserved time to look deeper into it, wanting to do it straight at the ECU (short the two pins going to the TPS), the issue has disappeared again (just to be replaced with issues from the ...

Error code 23
Hi I'm getting error 23 (idle switch issues) on the stock ECU (CECU), but only when engine is running (!!), is this normal? Can the error 23 indicate other errors, then issues with the idle switch? Tested/done: Key ON: Error 23. Depress pedal, and back in neutral/idle: Code 23 clears Engine on: Erro...

So far my hunt for new dampers are going south... I found no (current) thirdparty part with the ET partnumbers - only non ET. I ordered a pair of Gabriel Gas dampers from a Danish shop (I live in Denmark), but after a few days they called me and said the vendor couldn't deliver after all (sucks...)....

Front shock absorbers
Hi
I'm about to order new front shock absorbes, but realize there is different P/N for E15S and E15ET cars. Huh? Any ideas what the difference would be?
I already stole several of the parts (hubs, current shocks etc) from a non ET...
Btw going new - would you go for oil or gas?

Hi Just got me interested in the overboost valve questions (which has been on my mind for some time), and made me search (and read) the hell of of this forum. Thanks for making me spend my afternoon in here ;) I found this thread, where some guy talks about a valve from a Terano 2: http://forum.n12t...

Fan question
Hi I've been wondering for some time about the fans mounted at the radiator. There are two fans, and from what I can read in Haynes, the smaller one should be the cooling fan (placed closer to the temp switch in the radiator), and the bigger one should be a "Auxiliary cooling fan for turbocharg...

How it went
Hi So bad of me to not get back with the result... ...so time to do so now :) The operation went well, and the engine purrs like a kitten. Everything fitted together just fine, and the engine is great again. Wohoo! It also passed the Danish version of MOT and became street legal :) It is currently s...

Non E15ET head, on E15ET block?
Hi I'm brand new to this forum :) ...and the proud owner of a rusty Nissan Cherry Turbo N12 (as it is called in Europe). Im considering installing a head from a E15S, on my E15ET block. From what I could see parts on valves, valve rockers etc.. everything.. is the same, so should work? Then I found ...
