Camber Bolts
Hey all, In case anyone was looking for a cheap way to get a bit more negative camber on the front, I can confirm that the J Power 12mm bolt set fits. http://www.ebay.com/itm/J-Power-FRONT-Camber-Kit-Cam-Bolt-12mm-Import-Domestic-/181363192681?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a3a1...

RB20DET ECU
My apologies, I really shouldn't have skimmed over some of the posts before posting. Silvertop engine management works pretty well with Nistune (or even a socketed ECU and an EPROM burned with a .bin that has the fuel and ignition tables rescaled so you can avoid rich and retard with a bit more boos...

MegaSquirt
The MegaSquirt is a seriously good bang for buck option if you've got some knowledge and are prepared to put in some effort getting it to work. You don't have to buy them as a kit, they just cost more if they're pre-assembled. If all you want is to be able to edit ignition and fuel tables, change in...

Cost Effective ECU Option
I think if you have the skills to assemble an electronics kit, and you are ok with being more involved with the installation / tuning of your ECU, a MegaSquirt is a great option. I am using a MegaSquirt II (MS2Extra to be technical), and it is quite a decent ECU for the price. I didn't assemble or i...

Suspension Options? What parts will fit?
Hey guys, With the new motor and gearbox installed, it's looking like time to replace the blown Monroe Gas shocks that my ET rolls around on. I haven't been able to find anything definitive with a search, so I thought I might start this thread. I'm interested in some information regarding what parts...

Well guys, after slapping it back together, everything appears to be back to normal. I think perhaps the motor has always been a bit tired, as I can hear an occasional and random knock coming from the sump. But that sound is no worse than it was before, and if anything the engine is slightly quieter...

Ah, well this sounds promising! I'll find out next week when the jackshaft seal comes in (pierced it with a screwdriver trying to stop the centre of the pulley from spinning) whether there are any of these evil noises. But the fact that it might actually be ok makes me happy! The pulley had no signs...

I think you're definitely right there. The timing belt has corresponding marks on it too. Just pulled the rocker cover off, cam lobes feel a bit dry, but no evidence of really bad wear. I think the top end might be ok in the short term if I drive very easy on it. A bit concerned that it's going to s...

I think I see the problem now...
It was fitted around last November, I'd say. It's possible it was overtightened, but it broke on the edge. Here's a pic - http://i743.photobucket.com/albums/xx77/theS-man88/N12%20Pulsar/IMG_20130124_143100_zpsfdd7ca1d.jpg I think your third suggestion might be bang on - I don't know how I missed tho...

Oil Pump Jackshaft Gear Split, Help Please!
Hey guys, I've just had the oil pump jackshaft drive gear (the one that's driven by the timing belt) shear apart, so that the oil pump wasn't spinning for approximately 3-4km. I'm just wondering whether this is a common problem, or maybe some thoughts as to what might have caused it? The gear didn't...
