I wont be tuning it myself. I have an understanding of everything required in the tune, but putting it all into practice and getting everything to balance out perfectly is something too far above me. Damo showed me quite a lot of stuff with tuning, and explained it all perfectly but I will not be tu...

Oracle, what was the product you were using in one of your vehicles to retain the highest voltage to the injectors or ignition regardless of power draw on your electronics system? I cant remember what topic you mentioned it in. I just remember you saying regardless of what electronics you turn on, y...

I am simply trying to find the best option for cheap price, arent we all? i am not trying to find an autronic sm4 for $800, i am simply trying to find the best option available for $800. I have been searching quite a lot over ...

OK, it may not be an N12, or ANYTHING that any of us have. But it is a very good, entertaining read for anyone interested in big power. Have a gander at what this bloke in Adelaide is doing to a 1FZ in a Crown. http://performanceforums.com/forums/showthread.php?67218679-1972-MS75-Toyota-Crown-Hardto...

I have no problem installing an aftermarket ecu. none at all. My only problem is the price tag that comes along with them I would love to have a top of the range ecu. As I have absolutely no intention on getting rid of the car anytime soon. and even if i did, I could pull the ecu to use again anyway...

well the tuning is a cost regardless of what ecu is chosen. I already have the Z32 AFM so that is of no consequence. I, imo, think the nistune is the way to go. I know it doesnt have the fantastic tunability of say an adaptronic, autronic, motec and what not. But I think, with the sleek design of it...

i know of several NIStune cars running around using the Z32 afm. The reason I ask, is because they are soo much easier to setup. as you said, no need for wiring looms, looks stock and everything is plug n play. the second reason, is because i can get one deliverd for $400 brand new, with a basic map...

speaking of price vs functionality, Tass, I wanted to ask you something. Damo aswell if you manage to see this. What are your opinions on NIStune boards over standalone ecu's? http://www.nistune.com/index.php they are only $420 and have all the functions of a standalone they are 16x16 resolution. fo...
