Hey mate, I will come for a drive soon mate. I had a microtech for it at one stage but I decided that it was a mega job to install it. YOu should be right to chuck one in and wind up the boost, we did put some new rings, bearings and head about 15,000km before you got it. The motor is pretty strong....

Yeah mate they are a tight fit. The guages touch on the top and bottom. I removed the plastic pocket thing and used that plastic to make the new face. I sprayed it all black but the paint ate into the plastic a bit. It is still ok. I also put a guage where the ciggie lighter was. Easy install as the...

Hey

Hey Callum, Avoid the detergent at those car wash places. I once washed my car and it stripped all the wax off and wrecked the paint. I had to cut and polish the car all over again. I was told that the alkaline in the soap reacts with the red oxide. Anyway, the car looks good mate. Cheers, Stu

Hey

Yeah I know this car. This car belonged to my mate Jimmy before Damo bought it. Jimmy is a veteran of this site and has proved an excellent resource while I was working on my car over the last three years. His knowledge of these cars is incredible. I am not exactly sure what internals the engine has...

Stu

I bought new N/A ones from Bursons.

They work fine.

I think Kelpro was the manufacturer.

Thanks

Thanks everyone for coming out. It was good to meet everyone and check out the cars. I will organise another meet up soon, maybe a cruise around town on a Friday night or something. I'll keep in touch.

Thanks again Moe for organising your meet this morning.

Tomorrow

There have been a couple of drop outs, All genuine reasons.

I am still hopeful that we can get at least ten cars.

Any troubles tomorrow, call me on 0424 184 874.

If you dont have your car running, come anyway. It is more of a social meet than a cruise. All cars are welcome.
