Gearbox hastily replaced over the weekend with another standard one, just to get it rolling. Almost done, with small jobs like refit driveshafts, etc.
Whiles its in the air, I'll swap over Callums great frontend - koni inserts, etc into the ET.

Chopper, Yep you are correct diff ratio's for circuit racing, or any play round really. The standard diff ratio is a pain in the arse. The actual N12 ratios are a little useless as well. N13 with the larger final drive ratio and closer 2,3,4 would sort 2 problems. But the circumference difference be...

Jimmy, My experience with this: 17's I have are mainly used for getting around and non-race activities because the rears scrape on inner (rolled guards) a little too much with 215's onboard. Work well on front though. So on a practice day - I'd run 17's on front and 15's on the back, depending on wh...

AFM
Kimmo, Don't apologise - I've learned some interesting stuff about aging AFM's from your post. I was going to suggest an AFM issue, as I have been frigging around with a standard correctly operating E15ET. Unplugging certain sensors to see what it does. At some point these AFM's will wear out. What ...

Little update. I purchased Callum's entire racecar and parts list - for consolidation of great race parts onto 1 car. Additionally to build a dirt motorkhana car our of Callums EXA/bits left over. Solves a number of issues for me - 1 of them being time to construct all of these custom parts. Stay tu...

I have a VQ V6 on gas as a dual fuel setup. So traditional converter setup etc. I do 1000kays a week and it uses ~$80 of gas per week. I get around 480-500km out of an 80L tank of which 72L is useable. Its very economical and works out to be $0.49 per km to run the entire car for the year. They have...

I'd argue tyre sidewall flex is promoted during cornering with a mounting setup like that - if that bead moves you are finished. The tyre is pre-tensioned towards the direction of force - thus promoting running on the sidewall as it leans over. Meanwhile the inside sidewall is also promoting that be...
