Oil Issues

Hello, Before I sink money into these issues, I just thought I might ask about them first to people who would most likely know something about it. My N12 (Non-turbo, GL Hatch, all stock) has started leaking quite a bit of oil out of one spark plug terminal. I just got all oil seals replaced & it...

Hey Mate, good on you. This is a great idea. If my N12 (or any of cars) ever goes missing, I will certainly use this. Also, I was so sorry to hear about your N12 being stolen but so stoked you got it back in pretty good shape. I'm a bit worried with mine too because I have no alarm & the Club Lo...

I did the same thing to my N12 recently. It's magical. It's like a new car. Good luck with your P's man. It's an unbelievable amount of fun! & most importantly, keep your beast running (as I'm sure you will). They are a top car (as I'm sure you know).

Ah OK. I was just a bit worried because I don't know about everywhere else but down my way their deleting Unleaded from the pumps!
So, it's better off to use Premium instead?

See I just got the CV boots replaced & the CV's were fine so that wasn't it, just got a wheel alignment (front & back) & 4 new tires so I was also considering it may have been a bearing issue. It probably is.
Thanks so much for the feedback people, appreciate it. :)

Strange Behaviour & Noise's At High Speed

Hello Knowledgeable People. I have a 1986 N12 Pulsar Hatch with auto transmission pared with the 1.6L 4cyl. engine. Now that the technical's are out of the way, here's my problem. Driving at speeds anywhere between 60-90km/h a "vub-vub-vub-vub" noise can be heard from the front end somewhe...

I'm confused as to why Nissan wouldn't build those engines with Hydro Lifters. I mean, Hydro Lifters have been around well before these cars. My Dad owns a 1961 Holden EK & a few years back he put a 1971 red motor straight 6 in it & even THAT had Hydro lifters. Were Nissan cutting costs or s...

N12 Engine Sounds like a Diesel

Hi People. Just wondering, I have a 1986 N12 Pulsar & it sounds quite like a Diesel engine. I have seen others driving around & even the later N13's & they all sound like this & there's nothing wrong with my engine so I was just wondering is this just what they sound like? A very clu...

The only thing that is a slight pain (but not hard to live with) is the oil it consumes. I'm not really sure why but it really drinks the stuff. Just burns it up. Doesn't leak just all gets used up pretty quick. I had a MAJOR oil leak repaired when I first got the car. When I got the car, all it's o...

You still see some driving around? That's awesome. Mine seems to be the only one getting round in my area. They just don't exist out my way. A real shame, you know? I am totally in love with this car & make it a goal to keep it stock. I'll share pictures soon. & for a GL, it's seats are amaz...

Ummm well nah M8, the GX'x have the twin front lights. The GX is the upmarket version. The GL's are the poverty pack base model hence no tacho. Is why I was surprised it had twin lights. Perhaps someone added them at some stage during a repair. EXAMADNESS. Lol. NO E15s in Oz M8. carb versions just ...
