Well I guess it was a sort of a childish mentality that rolled on over the years. Starting from p plater days where insurance companies were quoting me more than the purchase price of the pulsar. So I used to laugh and think why would I pay that premium every year when I could just buy another one f...

Hi, sorry for your loss. Mine got written off 2 weeks after I resprayed it. It was 5 odd years in the making and was finally finished. I had no insurance and was not at fault. The most I could get out their insurance company was $2600 - $400 to buy the wreck back which I stripped to build another. T...

I understand totally. The best way I thought to make it would be welded L brackets to the wheel well with the poll across and "v"d to the floor. Due to my lack of welding skill :P and also wanting to fit a sub in the boot I went this option. (sub will be reverse firing into spare wheel wel...

I've always been on the lookout for one that would fit so I wouldn't have to make one. Just kept on searching ebay until I saw one that looked the part. This one had the measurements in the description from hole to hole, so just measured bolt to bolt in the boot, done. Wasn't that big of a gamble, I...

Rear strut brace

FYI I bought and just fitted this: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Rear-Upper-Strut-Tower-Bar-Brace-For-Tiida-Livna-EMS-Shipping-/180879708028?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a1d454f7c Works well, no more creaking noise from the boot and handles way better. Only had to trim the boot interior pl...

Will these work?

Trying to search the world for strut braces or body bracing for the et. Couple of hours later came across "nissan sunny 130y" . Googled pics, same engine bay. Typed in nissan sunny 130y on ebay in all categories and came up with the strut brace and lower 4 point brace. So, would the lower ...

So i done the gaskets again, replaced the standard spring clamps with tighter hose clamps, replaced hoses. Nothing. Out of curiousity i unpluged the tps and ins...

A similar thing happened to me once. The motor would stop at random times on the way home from the city one night, whilst still in gear as well wich was weird. Took it to the mechanic, he said there was water in my fuel tank. Changed the fuel filter, dumped the fuel/water. Filled up the tank almost ...

Only 5 mins of driving time?? Mine was doing this at one stage so i changed the thermostat and it was still doing it. Then i checked the water pump and bingo, the impelars (or how ever you spell it) were rusted away and nothing was "pumping" the water around.
