I have adjusted tappets, but they are still making noise, also i have noticed that the rockers are not sitting flush on top of valve stems, they are sitting about a 1/3rd off to 1 side. 1 side towards the dissy n the other to the pulley end. Is this normal ?

The tappets were making noise so i adjusted them but the tapping noise is still there, would there be something else making the same noise ? Any help welcome, cheers

That gives me less then 24 hours to get motor changed n running to make it to the cruise/meet at bunnings by 12 then

i will miss next cruise till i fix car (needs heart transplant) car sounds like a vw combi cheers

Checked spark plugs today n no. 3 had oil on it, the other were ok.could this be rings or valve seals ? The motor has little power when taking off n when driving . If its the valve seals can they be changed with the head still on motor ? Any help will be helpful. Cheers Aubrey
