Also test the thermal switch in a hot jug of water and a multimeter if its giving a reading it is working.

This is what a auto electrion told me.

well i went to nissan the price has gone up.
7 dollars a clip lol.

Oh well once I have painted the car and grill I guess its probably best to pay that much.

Oh and 230 dollars for a thermostat switch too from nissian.

but 5 dollars a clip is not that bad considering they aren't a part that is sold everyday on a car that is 27 years old.
