Ok im gunna go with the E15et, as its alot less hassle and cheaper and it will still be some fun. So probably gunna be looking to buy a complete exa, as i have other plans for the shell 8)

Ball Joints

Is there a difference between the front ball joints for the ET and Exa, to a standard n12? Like different taper sizes?

Sounds like the same thing that happened to mine, except 3 and 4 came out nill.

I never got around to pulling the head off though so im not sure what the prob was but i was guessing a piece blew out on the head gasket between 3 and 4.

Let us know what you find out if you go to pull it apart.

It would work, but the auto box wouldnt stand up to the powerful little ET engine for too long.

A bit to warm for a e13, my little 1300 i use to run in my van use to only go to the the first 1/4 on the gauge and never get any hotter, then eventually the car blew a head in 2 spots so i dropped an e15 in. Not sure what ur prob could be though, should do a compression test just to check the cylin...

I finally sourced a CA engine for my van out of an AWD U12 Bluebird! Downside - still in the car so i have to pull it out, and its in the back of my uncles workshop behind about 10 other cars that arnt mobile at the present and the guy that owned it back in NZ got the turbo and intercooler removed a...
