I found a place called Bailey's Brake and Clutch that are going to get cups and seals for me. I'll pull it down and fix it myself. I'll have to remove the booster and get the fluid out of it.

My MC must be leaking into the booster reservoir. Do they sell rebuild kits or do I have to buy a new MC?

Thermo Fan Switch

The fan sender that goes into the side of the radiator isn't working. Does anyone know if they are available aftermarket or will I have to go to a Nissan parts place?

I have 6 that are supposed to be ca18det and 4 that are supposed to be fj20t. All of them have the same a46-00 number and all have an off white top. I don't know how to tell them apart except by getting them flowed.

Although you don't have to use the lubricant if you have it lying around you may as well. I used to use it in my old BMW as it was a little quieter with it.

Exa Damaged

I was hit in the side by an elderly woman in a local carpark today. If I were lucky enough to find a door in excellent condition at a wrecker how much do you think it'd cost?

It's not absolutely necessary as they are unleaded engines even though they were run on leaded in Australia.

So...nearly 4 months on I decided it had to be temp sensor related and went and checked the wiring. About time I got off my arse. I found a bad solder joint that came apart when I pulled on it. The thing is running again. Pity really as I was saving a fortune in fuel. :)

Sounds like what I'm going through at the moment. Mine is rich and won't start when engine has some temperature in it. It starts when cold. It's probably going to turn out to be temp sensor or wiring or AFM.

Does anyone know whether there is any form of temp sensor in the AFM itself?

It turned out to be the AFM yet again. Previously the AFM's have died slowly but this problem was immediate which is why I thought it was something else.

Who's got a good, working AFM they want to sell because they've gone over to a programmable ECU?
