What do you guy's mean when you say; 'you want it to grab just off the firewall'? I tested the clutch in my garage yesterday and the way I had it setup; - fuk all wiggle/movement in the gearbox lever (approx 2 - 4mm). - fuk all thread left on the cable to tighten it any further. The car would start ...

Its kewl, I figured it out.

The side with the groove in it (side you can see the spring) needs to go on the gearbox side. Spring side = gearbox oil side......

Yep you will M8. Theres a chance it might not leak at all but if it does, itll shit you more than you know. Your on the right track about the shifter shaft but why remove that shaft anyway? L8tr E I bought both seals way back when I first found out there was a leak. Is there a way to get the input ...

BTW, how do you get the gear selector out of the box?

It looks like you have know the pin thingy out and then it might slide out.

OK...... I used kid nismo's method and it worked a treat.... Just need to torque the clutch up and put the gearbox back in. It's funny how something so heavy to start with can become easy enough to lift with one hand after doing it a THOUSAND TIMES!!! Now more questions; (1) What's everyones experie...
